Heroes Fanvid and School Projects

Procrastination is an evil thing. I need to stop doing it. I have two school projects due this week and I decided to start them on Saturday.

The first project is for my Computer Systems class. We have to make either a minute long movie or a slideshow on a Mac. What I wanted to do was either make a Five Years Gone fanvid to music by Muse or a Sylar vs. Peter vid to "Can't Come Quickly Enough" by the Scissor Sisters but I accidentally deleted half of my episodes off my computer. As a last choice, I used "If Everyone Cared" by Nickelback.

My second project I had to complete was for Advertising Concepts. I had to create an ad campaign for a product I was interested in. I couldn't reallly think of anything I like so I decided to do it on my city. For two days I walked around the town taking pictures. Ugh, so sunburned. I do think it came out pretty well.

My sister has stolen my sneakers and comfortable flipflops so I walked around wearing my slippers. I must have made quite the site: floppy hat, bright red shoulders, slippers, and little camera. I felt like such a tourist but yeah, I think it was worth it.

The fanvid was a lot of fun. It was my first Heroes vid (third vid overall) and I think I'm going to make another one. I've started on one with Nickelback's "Save Me." Something about their music is very easy to vid to. It might be the overpowering emo.

That was a fantastic vid! All the scenes were really powerful with the lyrics.

I kinda chuckled at the beginning because of Claude sharing a pretzel with Peter, though. Eh, Claude always brings that out in me, lol.

Beautiful vid! Each of the clips seemed very smartly choosen and it really did encorperate the whole cast well. Your pictures came out very lovely, too.

It is very beautiful but I'm not a fan of the heat either. When I graduate school I'd like to move up north. Either go to Vancouver or return to Connecticut.

Thanks. I'm working on another vid right now. It's about the different relationships on the show but I don't really consider it shippy. I really wanted to finish it last night so I could post it today but now I'll have to wait til Wednesday. I reallly need to get my cable/internet turned back on.
