lay_of_luthienFirst off, I have redone my journal. I was going to use the new Sweeney Todd poster for my header but then I thought I'd go for something bright and cheerful for a change. I like it.
A while ago on heroes_sylar I posted that I got a new kitten and named him Sylar. I finally took some pictures of him and thought I'd share.
On the prowl.
The only time he's calm.
HUNGRY 4 BRAINZZZ!!! This is Sylar attacking my head. It's his favorite thing to do. He jumps on my lap, climbs my shoulder, and tries to reach the back of my head.
Brains still intact. I was able to thwart his evil plans.
Sometimes I get into a "creative" mood and I do weird things to my belongings. I was hit with this inspiration yesterday and came up with this.
This is my purse. I found an old ID badge holder from my week of work at JC Penney. I thought, "Hey, I could use this to put a picture on my purse." I measured the badge to see how large the picture should be, removed the clip, and then safety pinned it onto my purse. I added a button on top so that I can open and close the badge when I place the picture into it. For the picture I thought it would be cool to print out several different Heroes paintings and I could just switch out the pictures when I want a change. And voila.

I was actually being kind of lazy when I decorated my purse. We bug-bombed the apartment on Saturday and I spent Sunday washing every dish we had, vacuuming the carpet, and cleaning the rooms. I took a break from cleaning to work on the purse and watch Star Trek: The Voyage Home.
