UGH! The cable company turned off my cable and internet on Sunday so I missed the finale of "Rome." Me SMASH! My mom paid the bill off less than two weeks ago so I don't know what's going on. I keep reminding her to call them but she keeps forgetting. I missed internet so much that I'm actually at my school all day today. I have to register for next quarter anyway but I'm going to be picked up at 7 pm. It's 7 am now.

At least I have my SIMS to entertain me through this tough time. I have made "Heroes" SIMS.

This is Nathan and Peter gossiping about Mohinder. They're lucky Sylar wasn't there to catch them giggling.


I took a couple hours making my Sylar SIM and about an hour on my Nathan SIM but they don't actually look anything like Zachary Quinto or Adrian Pasdar. After taking so much time on theirs I made the rest pretty generic. I have no idea how some people are able to model their SIMS to look like the person they're modeling after. In case you want a Sylar SIM but don't feel like taking the time to model it, I've uploaded of mine.

See, this is why I've been wanting to buy the Sims! Because I want to set up various Heroes families, to pass the time till the show comes back, and watch and giggle helplessly as the families do silly things that they'd totally do on TV if only the networks would let them never do in real life.

the SIMS are sooo addicting. Previously I was playing with the Ninth Doctor, Rose, and Captain Jack Harkness from "Doctor Who." Jack and Nine were engaged but Jack wasn't too happy about it. He still wanted Woohoo with 3 other SIMs. They let Rose move in with them. Nine was in love with both of them and Jack had a crush on Rose. It was all very torrid.

Hee! I made Heroes Sims too, the Petrelli family (Peter, Nathan, Claire) and Mohinder and Sylar. Mine don't look a lot alike either ;) A way to do that is to create skins by projecting a photograph onto the skintone (I personally don't like how that looks - photorealistic sims scare me ^_^;;)

this is my Sylar-sim (http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b22/yaoi_icontest/sims/sylar04.jpg), looking darkly at my Mohinder-sim. I went for the Zane-look :p (my Mohinder and Sylar recently had a baby... I feared for how the poor thing would end up looking, but he's GORGEOUS. I was shocked :p)

I saw on the mylar comm that you didnt have curly hair - there IS a curly hair mesh, it's hidden in the OFB game (the Sims 2 makers sometimes hide stuff in the game for the modders to find). LOL, ILU!! My friend and I did something like this once, with a different fandom... and a more primitive Sims game. Needless to say, yours look way, way, way, way, way, way, way more like the actual people than ours did! (We generally had to approximate by saying like, 'That looks relatively like something he might be seen wearing...' and 'That's not quite outlandishly different from his actual hair...')

It was maddening, though. One of them would need a wash, so we would give him a wash, and by the time we finished getting him into the bath, the other was dying on the floor of the kitchen because he couldn't figure out how to eat the food he'd made. After we'd been at it kind of all night, I never wanted to see another Sim again. XD

Now... I'm thinking about buying a Sims game. I cannot resist the idea of making Heroes people. :O

Oh, incidentally, Nathan talking to DL about flying is A++++, and Sylar giving Mohinder a neck rub is THE WAY THINGS SHOULD BE.
